Carolee Carns, 44, of Bozeman, passed away in Williston, N.D., on May 29, 2013. Carolee was laid to rest at the Hillside Memorial Gardens in Williston, N.D., June 5, 2013.

Carolee was born Sept. 13, 1968 in Williston, N.D., to Edward and Barbara Carns. Siblings are sister, Tracy Carns of NYC, and brothers, Derry Carns of Williston, Brian Carns of Arkansas, and Craig Carns of Great Falls. Father, Edward Carns resides in Great Falls and mother, Barbara preceded Carolee in death alongside which Carolee now rests. Son, Chase Carns was born to Carolee Dec. 3, 1988 in Nashville, Tenn., and currently resides in Williston, N.D.

Carolee graduated from Fairfield High School in 1986 and for a time was a student at MSU. We all know and love Carolee as being our favorite bartender. Carolee bartended for Grunch at the Crystal Bar and later worked the day shift bartending at the Eagles Club. Loving mother, excellent bartender, and great friend – our Carolee will truly be missed.

Please join us in celebration of Carolee's life on Sunday, June 23. Memorial services begin at 1 p.m. upstairs at the American Legion Club, 225 E. Main Street in Bozeman. Be prepared to tell your favorite story during the memorial – potluck luncheon will follow. Afterwards, we'll proceed to the American Legion bar for a final farewell to our friend, Carolee "Lefty" Carns.
