Cathy Lynn Davis, of Bozeman, died on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at her daughter's home in Covina, Calif. She was 61. Cathy was born Jan. 21, 1952 in Lansing, Mich. She lived in Michigan until she was 11 years at which time the family moved to Glendale, Calif. There she graduated from Glendale High School. She married Delroy Davis Sr. in 1984. They have three children between them, Rachael Warren (Ivory Warren, Jr.) Delroy Davis Jr. and Raymond Jones Jr.

Cathy worked as a taxi cab driver, a medical assistant, a social worker and a homemaker. She loved to read historical novels, Christian literature, and the Bible. She was an avid Bible scholar. She enjoyed learning about things and read lots of "How to Books." She liked to watch Biblical movies over and over.
Cathy could play a mean game of Pinochle, Kings Corners, and Gin Rummy. She loved to laugh and would tell jokes that would have us all rolling in the aisles when all the while she had straight face. Then she would start to laugh and everyone would laugh until their sides hurt.
She is survived by her sister, Karen Gilhousen (Klein); brothers, Terry Coulter (Iracema) and Kevin Maxwell (Tamy); four grandchildren, Desiree Christianson (Jacob), Braxton Gohde, Dakota Gohde, Jordon Davis; her great-grandson, Casey "CJ" Radd Jr.; nephews, Philip Gilhousen, Corey Maxwell, Brandon Maxwell, and Gabriel Coulter; grandnieces, Aspen Cok (Robert) and Laura Gilhousen; and grandnephew, Derek Gilhousen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max Coulter and Frances "Sammie" Davis; two brothers, Frederick "Freddie" Maxwell, and Clifford Maxwell Jr.; niece, April Gilhousen and grandnephew, Bryan Gilhousen.
Memorial services to be held on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 120 S. Grand Ave., Bozeman.
