Chad Wesley Rey passed away April 4, 2011, at his home in Bozeman.

Chad was born May 13, 1983, to Michael and Jayne (Jarman) Rey in Clarksville, Tenn.

After graduating from Bozeman High School in 2001, Chad worked a number of jobs, including serving as a volunteer firefighter, ranching, and most recently working for Culligan Water. He was truly a renaissance man.

He married Jessica D. Somerville on July 11, 2009, in Pray, and they had one son, Wesley Rey.

Chad enjoyed many things, including hiking, camping, skiing, four-wheeling, ranching, mountain biking, watching movies with Wesley, and road trips to the parks.

He was a wonderful brother, son, husband, father and a great friend.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Jayne Rey; his wife, Jessica; his son, Wesley; his brothers, Christopher Lee Rey and Adam Jeremy Rey; grandparents, Maurice and Shirley Jarman; and many other family members and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Margaret Rae.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
