Charlie Nicholson passed away late Friday evening at the Billings Clinic.

He is survived by his parents, Tom and Laura; three brothers, Michael (Janie) of Livingston, Sam (Jen) of Bozeman, and twin brother Pat (Jen) of Billings; as well as a large extended family.

Charlie had so very many friends. He brought joy to all who knew him. He had an indomitable spirit, a most generous heart, and a ready smile for all. He was a bit mischievous and loved bowling, music, and good times with family and friends, and he was a loving uncle. Charlie was a good listener and possessed a special wisdom and a remarkable memory. He was nonjudgmental. He wasted very little time complaining. He was hopeful, caring and courageous.

Charlie was a unique individual. He lived life to the fullest, and he did it his way. He was a special gift for those who knew him, and his memory will be treasured by all.

God bless you, Charlie.

Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at American Lutheran Church in Livingston, followed by a reception at the Elks Lodge.
