The Guest Book is expired.

Our beloved touchstone, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Charon "GG" Callantine Cordie, 72, of Belgrade, Mont. passed away April 23, 2014 of natural causes.

Charon was born in Livingston, Mont. on March 20, 1942. She grew up in Maudlow and graduated from Manhattan High School.

Charon was married for 13 years to James Cordie.

She worked as a cook for Bair's Restaurant for many years. Charon enjoyed working there because of all the wonderful friends she made. Her most cherished job was being a mom to her children and enjoying time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was always the most important thing to her.

Charon was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 10 siblings, and numerous other special relatives and friends. They were all very important to her and she missed them very much.

Charon is survived by six children, Sharie, Carrie, Brian, Chris, Jonna, Donna and their respective spouses; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many other loved family members and friends.

Her celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. at the Ridge View Pavilion in Belgrade on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11. Everyone is welcome! Dress casually as GG would have. We will be sharing tears, smiles, laughs, food, drink, pictures and stories.
