Clark Zastrow, 76, of Helena was born in Ruth, Nev. to Glenn Leon and Eva Marie (Gates) Zastrow on June 21, 1936. He graduated from Rifle High School, Rifle, Colo. in 1954. He went on to graduate from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1958 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force taking his basic training at Lackland A.F.B., San Antonio, Texas and Lowery A.F.B., Denver, Colo. Clark was stationed at Charleston A.F.B, Charleston, S.C. where he met his wife, Mary Rafter. There were married in Lewistown, Mont., July 28, 1961.

Clark was very active in many groups and organizations during his very busy life and especially enjoyed camping with his family. Clark was an active member of the Community Bible Fellowship and Gideons International. He loved our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with all his heart.
Clark leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Mary Rafter Zastrow, and his three daughters, Loni (Kurt) Charlton, Dona (Glenn) Harris and Jodi (Randy) Jones; two brothers, Ronald (Sue) Zastrow of Edwards, Colo. and Roger (Diane) Zastrow of Glenwood Springs, Colo. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren he was so very proud of.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Community Bible Fellowship, 1225 Fern Rd., Helena (corner of Montana Avenue and Fern Rd.).
