The Guest Book is expired.

Dallice Marie Smith was born in Sheridan on April 29, 1984, to Mary Ann and Bobby Smith.

Her death was the result of a vehicle accident that occurred near Cardwell on Feb. 1, 2009. She was 24 years old.

She was raised in Whitehall and graduated high school at the top of her class. She loved to play softball, tennis and as an avid volleyball player was touted as being the shortest girl that could jump the highest. As a senior, Dallice was thrilled about being voted prom queen.

After high school she attended Montana Tech and graduated as a certified welder. At the time of her death, Dallice was attending Montana State University and maintained a 4.0 GPA in ag business and economics.

She loved her many jobs, but was especially fond of Lahood Park and the many friends she made there.

Dallice was kind and generous to all and will be missed by many. Her special friend Ruth Lott helped her blossom into the special person that we all loved. She was an avid snowboarder and loved hunting, camping, her horses and moving cattle in Elk Park with her mom.

Dallice was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted and Dorothy Walker of Dillon, and Uncle Mark Smith of Whitehall.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Ann Walker Smith, father, Bobby Smith and Tammy Becraft and grandparents, Keith and Rose Smith, all of Whitehall; brother, Colt Smith (Nikita), of Alder; aunt and uncles, Judy Tash, John (Cindy) Walker, of King Hill Idaho, Bill (Robyn) Walker, of Dillon and Bill Tash, of Dillon; cousins, Aaron and Kyle Tash, of Dillon, Kacee Mock, of Boise, Idaho, Amy Walker, of Dillon, Ted Walker, of King Hill, Idaho, Shawn Walker, of Loveland, Colo., Brian Walker, of Dillon and Heidi Clemens, of Westminster County; and nieces, Frankie, Juliana and Izzabella, of Alder.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Whitehall High School gym, with Rev. Bill Lanes officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehall Cemetery.
