Dan is survived by his mother, Dolla and her husband, Jim; Hollie Newbauer, his loving wife of 32 years; his children, Jason, Jennifer and Jessica Newbauer; daughter-in-law, Aurelia Nicholson; and four grandchildren, Grace, Danielle, Novellus and Josephirra.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Joseph Lugo; and his oldest son, Joseph Newbauer.

A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Valley of the Flowers Catholic Church in Belgrade. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Dan, or "old man" as he was known to some, will be sorely missed by any and all who knew him. May he find peace in death he never found in life.
