Darrel Ray Loomis, 86, of Three Forks, Mont., passed away of natural causes on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, in Highland, Kan.

Darrel was born July 21, 1927, in North Platte, Neb. He graduated from Three Forks High School in 1945. He married the late Bernice Reich in 1951 and they spent their lives together in Three Forks.

He worked in the lab at Trident Cement Co. for 47 years, retiring in 1991.

Darrel is survived by his children, Tom Loomis (Teresa) of Deer Lodge, Mont.; and Patricia Skjervem (Duane) of Overland Park, Kan. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

A graveside service will be held in the spring in Three Forks.
