David Joe Torix, 44, of Spokane, Wash., formerly of Belgrade, died of natural causes Oct. 2, 2010, at his home.

David was born Jan. 31, 1966, in Moscow, Idaho, the first son to Terry Torix and Alice Curtis Torix.
He graduated from Belgrade High School in 1984. At the time of his death he was an over-the-road truck driver. His real passion was leatherwork, and riding his motorcycle.
David is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sandra Torix; his father, Terry (Jetton) of Paul, Idaho; and five siblings, Matt (Darla) of Wyoming, Ben (Vicky) of Idaho, Thad (Angela) of Missouri, Bonnie (Mike) and Brandie (Shannon), all of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice; and grandparents, Joe and Vi Torix, and Scoop and Maria Curtis.
A small graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, on the farm of his great-uncle, George Cook, 7272 River Road, Bozeman. David's ashes will be laid to rest alongside his mother, near the banks of the Gallatin River.
