Bozeman, Montana, resident, Diane Ehernberger died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, from complications of ovarian cancer. Diane was born April 7, 1947, in Derry, New Hampshire, to Frank and Alyce (Greenwood) Sandberg of Windham, New Hampshire.

She attended school in Windham and Derry, graduating from Pinkerton Academy in 1965. She attended Gordon College and the University of Colorado before meeting and marrying Frank Ehernberger of Ft. Morgan, Colorado, in 1968. They had two children, Kris and Dan. Diane returned to college to finish her degree, graduating from the University of Montana in 1985. The family moved to Bozeman in 1991, and Diane worked as a librarian at Bozeman High School until she took early retirement.

Diane enjoyed genealogy research and was able to document her qualification for membership in the Mayflower Society. She was very active in AAUW (American Association of University Women), serving on the local branch board of directors for many years. She also served on the state level as Finance Director, Membership Vice-President, and President as well as serving one term on the national membership committee. in addition, Diane also served as Finance Director of the Montana Women's Lobby from 2004 through 2014.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband. She is survived by her children, Kristin Alice White (Tyler) Sloan and Daniel Gerald (Miranda) Ehernberger; six grandchildren, Cassidy and Alexander White, Zachary Sloan, and Orianna, Marissa, and Nicholas Ehernberger; several cousins; and her beloved dog, Moekie.

Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, Oct. 25 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 p.m.
