Donald Braden Nutter, age 66, of Helena passed away Saturday morning, April 14, 2007, in Seattle of a brain aneurysm.

Don was born in Spokane, attended Brown University and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in business. He retired from Georgia-Pacific where he had been a salesman. His passion in life was playing competitive duplicate bridge and being with his many bridge friends.
Don is survived by his son, John (Erica) Nutter and grandchildren, Laura and Scott of Port Angeles, Wash.; his best friend and partner in life and in duplicate bridge, Darlene Rutledge and Indy dog of Helena, and her family, James Semans, Jeni (Mick) Leary, Kahner and Riley, and grandson, Chris Semans; sister, Linda Nutter of Maine; brothers, David (Kathy) Summerfield and Jelica of Bozeman, Drs. Paul and Rena Nutter of Seattle, Gregg (Dawn) Holt of Great Falls, Pat Nutter of Alaska; stepmother, Grace Nutter of Spokane; and nephew, Leif (Melissa) Summerfield and Avery of Bozeman.
A gathering of friends and celebration of Don's life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the MACO Building, 2715 Skyway Drive, Helena.
No flowers, please. Donations may be made to Hospice Memorial of St. Peter's Hospital, 2475 Broadway, Helena. Cremation has taken place and ashes will be distributed at a later date.
