Dorothy F. Venrick, 99, passed away Aug. 6, 2010, at her son's home in Enumclaw, Wash., after an extended illness with Alzheimer's disease.
Her husband, John Venrick, had a 30-year career with the U.S. Forest Service, and they lived in Helena, Lincoln, Wisdom, Sheridan and Bozeman, retiring in 1970 in Bozeman. Following her husband's death, Dorothy moved to Mesa, Ariz., then to Washington.
Dorothy's ashes will be spread on Madison River at John's favorite fishing hole where his were also spread, between Bozeman and Ennis.
