Earl William Chamberlain, 92, of Bozeman, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, passed away Oct. 7, 2011, at High Gate Senior Living in Bozeman. He was born July 1, 1919, in Rushsylvania, Ohio, to the late Harry Eal and Marie Camberlain.

Earl was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He was a master mechanic and a member of the Operating Engineers Union for over 70 years. He was also a 32nd-degree Mason, and a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Earl was an avid outdoorsman and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Margaret, his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by four children, Patricia (Hiram) McFadden of Pataskala, Ohio, Jack Earl (Velda) Chamberlain of Sun City, Ariz., Marchia (James) Stubblefield of White Sulphur Springs and Joy (Mick) McGuire of Three Forks. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Earl Chamberlain will be held on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Twichel Funeral Home Chapel in White Sulphur Springs with John Clark officiating. Burial with military honors and Masonic Rites will follow in Mayn Cemetery.
