Edna "Teddy" Lucile Talbott was born Sept. 2, 1914, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ernest and Mary (Hilton) Alder.

At just over a year old, the family moved to Seattle, Wash., where Edna graduated from Broadway High School in 1932.

Edna worked as executive secretary and office manager for Rothchild International Stevedoring Company in Seattle, Wash.

On Jan. 1, 1944 Edna married Frank Talbott. They spent 43 years together before Frank passed away in 1987, at which time she moved to Bozeman, to be near her only son and his family.

Edna loved flowers and gardening. She especially loved especially red geraniums. She also loved plastic canvas needlework. Family and friends received many gifts of angels, tote bags, activity bags for kids and many other items that she created. For many years she made holiday favors, filled with chocolate and other treats, for Robyn Zetzer's class at Emily Dickinson School. Many of her items were made for fundraisers, such as outreach missions and MOSS.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Talbott; parents, Ernest and Mary Alder; son, Charles A. Talbott; sisters, May Callas, Helen Masters, Dorothy Nilson, and Pearl DeBaun; brothers, Robert "Bob" Alder, Jack Alder, Harold "Bill" Alder, and Donald "Don" Alder.
