Elizabeth 'Liz' Sirio, 81, of Bozeman, died Oct. 13, 2012 in Billings, after a short illness. She was born March 28, 1931, to Herman and Victoria Sirio of Chicago, Ill.

A resident of Bozeman for 26 years, she visited Montana in the Clyde Park area before moving to Missoula in 1959. After her marriage she lived in various places in Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon and Washington, finally returning to Dillon and Bozeman. She worked a variety of secretarial jobs in each location, including law firms, Western Montana University and MSU.
She was the youngest of six sisters, the 'Sirio Girls,' and was preceded in death by Inez Wicklund, Lucille Singer, Eleanor Barry, Geraldine Livorsi and Dolores Uvodich. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Liz enjoyed an active life and the journey – hunting, fishing, trap and skeet shooting, painting, weaving, pottery, journaling and her garden.
Retired, she was recently working locally part time. She kept contact with her sisters and their families, and looked forward to annual visits from her niece from California.
Cremation has taken place in Billings, and there will be no services at her request. Memorials may be made to a
