Euzelia (Swanson) Harper, 99, passed away Aug. 25, 2008, at the Gallatin Rest Home where she had resided since 2002. She was born on March 3, 1909, in Franklin County, N.C.

She resided in Henderson, N.C., and worked as a nurse until her move to Silver Spring, Md., in 1955. She worked as a nurse at the Seventh-day Adventist hospital until her retirement in 1980.
Euzelia moved to Bozeman in 1995. She resided part-time at Bear Creek Respite until she entered Gallatin Rest Home in 2002. Her longevity, no doubt, was due in great part to the wonderful care and love she received at these facilities.
She is survived by her children: Jack (Margie) Harper of Bozeman; Peggy (David) Paris of Gaithersburg, Md.; Bobby (Anne) Harper of Lady Lake, Fla.; Jim (Dorlene) Harper of Olney, Md.; and Jerry (Roberta) Harper of Middletown, Md. Also surviving are grandchildren: Dean Paris, Eric (Shelley) Paris, Karen (Philip) Matteson, Alan (Kristi) Harper, Stephen Harper, Wayne (Andrea) Harper, Kathryn (Roger) Rich, Cheryl (Darrell) Tarte, Erica (Tony) Petrolle, Jeffrey (Jill) Harper, Gregory (Carrie) Harper; and her great-grandchildren: Joshua Matteson, Jordan Smith, Justin Smith, Jake Paris, Courtney Paris, Trevor Harper, Timothy Harper, Heather Harper, Hannah Harper, Christopher Rich, Michael Rich, Brittany Rich, Kayla Tarte, Jake Tarte, James Petrolle, Reece Petrolle, Anisley Harper, Gabrielle Harper, Morgan Harper, Griffin Harper, and Camryn Harper.
Services and interment will be in Silver Spring, Md.
