Gary Dean Tucker, age 40, was loved by many. Born at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital on Dec. 21, 1970, he lived most of his life in the Gallatin Valley with the exception of a short time in Park County.

Growing up, Gary loved fishing, hunting, hiking and basketball. Although his love for basketball faded, you could not take his love for the outdoors out of this wonderful man. He was always happiest if he had either a fishing pole in his hand or a rifle for hunting. We will never forget the giddy happiness he expressed when coming home from fishing or hunting having been a successful outing. He truly loved being outdoors.

Gary is survived by his beautiful daughter, Cody Tucker, age 17, and his handsome son, Garrett Tucker, age 9; his father, William Tucker of Bozeman; mother, Joanne Wells and stepfather, Marshall Wells of Belgrade; his older sister, Kappie Hall of Belgrade; his younger sister, Cheryl Mussgnug of Frisco, Texas; niece, Christie Welter of Belgrade; nephew, Nicholas Mussgnug; brothers-in-law, Andy Mussgnug and Gene Hall; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Personal note from Cheryl: "Gary, you were one of my best friends growing up and I always looked up to you. It saddens me to no end to know I will never see your wonderful face again, but it gives me peace to know you are now in a better place. I love you, Big Brother, and you will be forever missed by not only me, but all of us."
