Gladys Lynn Feltner, known as Lynn all her life, was born March 27, 1934, in Alexandria, La., and passed peacefully on Dec. 13, 2009, in Tucson, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. and Gladys Hogg; and six of her brothers and sisters.
Lynn is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kurt C. "Cub" Feltner of Tucson, Ariz.; son, Britt C. Feltner of Manhattan, Kan.; daughter, Shari L. Parent of Ashland, Ore.; son, Brian H. Feltner of Waukesha, Wis.; sister, Evelyn Vanderford of Centerville, Miss.; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
Lynn was a stay-at-home mom early on, and later was a full partner in her husband's career in academia. She was a gracious hostess, a fine pianist and gourmet cook, and was a tournament tennis player. Her other passions were quilting, bridge, volunteer work, classical music, dancing, sports, and, above all, family and friends.
Interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Pinedale, Wyo., Lynn's favorite place.
