The Guest Book is expired.
You were brought into this world for many purposes. When you were diagnosed with gastroschisis before birth, we had no idea what life had in store for you. All of your family was scared but you never wavered. You were sick but never showed it.
You and your mother moved from Bozeman to Seattle, Wash., where special nurses and doctors could help you live a longer life. You, in turn, helped your mother and many others learn unconditional love.
In your short 2 1/2 years, you changed the lives of every person you came in contact with. Your smile was contagious. Your laughter was unforgettable. Your Blue's Clues stuffed dog and video were your favorite things. Dora and SpongeBob ranked a close second.
You had complete control of your surroundings. You never once gave up or let anyone else give up. You held on through so many doctor visits and surgeries. The most important thing that you held out for was your new liver and small intestine transplant on June 1, 2007. We all prayed that day would come and you gave us that blessing.
On June 23, 2007, the good Lord saw fit to relieve you from your pain of recovery. We are ALL very saddened that you are gone from this earth, but we know God and his angels had other plans for you. We believe that you are watching over your family and friends every day. You are now safe and free of pain.
Bless you so much Hailey Lynn, you are sorely missed by all.
With all of our love: Veronica Haynes (mom), Brittany Haynes and Alix Gunderson (aunts), Gina and John Bittner (grandma and grandpa), along with all who loved and cared for you.
Cremation has occurred. A memorial service was held at Seattle Children's Hospital on June 29, 2007.
