Harry John Leonard, 86, of Bozeman, passed away in the early morning hours of Nov. 7, 2007.
The Guest Book is expired.
He was born near Chetek, Wis., on July 10, 1921, to Harry and Genevieve Leonard.
Harry enlisted in the U.S. Army in May 1940, and was stationed in Panama until 1943. He was sent to Europe in 1944 and was wounded in the "Battle of the Bulge." Harry was honorably discharged in 1945 and married his wife, Lois Janquart, in November 1947. They had two children, Kathleen in 1954, and Robert in 1957.
Harry will always be remembered for his generosity and self-sacrifice.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; daughter, Kathleen; son, Robert; grandchildren, Jennifer, Adrianne, William and Evan; as well as a great-grandson, Devan. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy Palmerino of Wakefield, Mass.
We would like to thank the fine staff of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital and Mountain View Care Center of Bozeman. Their skill and kindness made Harry's last days much more comfortable.
