Harry Stuart Walker passed away on March 27, 2013 in Scottsdale, Ariz. where he had lived for the past five years. Harry was born in Bozeman, March 25, 1929, the first of four sons to Harry and Alma Hinsen Walker. He attended school in Bozeman graduating from Gallatin County High School. Shortly after, he joined the Air Force serving four years before being discharged. Returning to Bozeman, he married his high school sweetheart, Jeanette Sinnema. Harry began his career with Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph in 1950. He worked in Bozeman, Livingston, and Plentywood, returning to Bozeman in 1976 and ending his career in Helena in 1984. Harry and Jeanette retired to Mesa, Ariz. and traveled to Bozeman during the summer until health issues no longer made it possible.

Harry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanette of Mesa; daughters, Janet Olson (Brian) of Mesa, Marianne Thill (Marvin) of Lake Stevens, Wash; grandchildren, Lisa Olson Gibbs of Princeton, Ky., Jeff Olson of Mesa, Andrea, Mollie, and Aaron Thill of Lake Stevens. Harry is also survived by four great-grandsons, his brothers, Charles of Black Eagle and Yuma Ariz. and Dan of Billings. Harry was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Ludwig; brother, James Walker; nephews, Mike and Mark Walker. Harry also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and his longtime friend and hunting buddies, Bill and Pat Oriet of Bozeman.
