Helen C. Lalich passed away Jan. 7, in Bozeman. She was born Feb. 26, 1914, in St. Louis, to Novica and Cvijeta (Avdalovich) Cheranich.

Helen was raised and received her education in Butte Schools. She married Michael M. "Mickey" Lalich on Nov. 14, 1937, in Butte's Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church.
She was an active member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mickey, and sister, Mamie Angelich.
Surviving relatives include her sons and daughters-in-law: Marco and Jeanne Lalich of Bigfork, Philip and Chris Lalich of Bozeman; daughter and son-in-law, Flora and Russell Felch of Seattle. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Marianne Cummings, Andy Gholson, Will Lalich, Ben Lalich and Jenny Lalich; sister, Rose Tritica; nieces, Cheryl Angelich, Diane Tritica and Roseanne Tritica of California, and Vickie Stevens of Sequim, Wash.; nephews, Michael Angelich of California, John Tritica of New Mexico, and Dan Lalich of Butte; and great-grandchildren, Felicia Gholson and Mackenzie Gholson.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday evening after 5 p.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church for visitation. Prayer services will be conducted at 7 p.m. in the church. Funeral services will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in the church. Entombment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials are requested to Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church.
