She was born in Gibsonia, Penn., in 1912. Hilda spent her childhood in Gibsonia helping raise her seven siblings. She attended Business College and worked in retail clothing as a saleswoman and model.
Hilda married Jerry Weinheimer in 1930. They raised four children together and enjoyed many years of traveling. They especially loved spending time in Ohio with family, Yellowstone and Glacier Parks and the Gallatin Valley. They relocated to Montana in 1972.
She enjoyed working at the Bozeman Senior Center and caring for her long-time companion, Penny (her faithful puppy of 17 years).
