He is also survived by his Uncle and Aunt Merrill and Kim Boone and his cousin Douglas Boone of Atlanta.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Garner.
He will be loved and remembered by numerous close friends.
In a cookie cutter world, Jackson was a truly unique soul. He was invariably the smartest man in the room, and loved conversation and debate. He loved to learn, and he pursued his many interests with passion. He was a writer, essayist and poet, and as his business cards said, "Paladin at large". His gift with words inspired and uplifted, and he lived by the personal mantra: "Love without fear, live without regret, learn from everything".
The world is a much dimmer place with his loss.
"Goodnight, sweet prince".
