James D. Williams, 66, of Yuma, Ariz., passed away Nov. 11, 2009, in Yuma.

He was born July 1, 1943, in Minot, N.D., and attended Minot schools. He graduated from Minot High School in 1962.
He married Bonnie Reinier on Sept. 29, 1963.
In 1972 the couple moved to Bozeman and resided there until 2004, at which time they moved to Yuma, Ariz. Although he lost his eyesight, nothing slowed him down. He was always ready to go on a trip or out to eat, especially shrimp or tacos down in Mexico.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of 46 years; sisters, Sandy Jundt, Sheila Peterson, Reneé Guggenmos; and three brothers, David Williams, Rod Williams and Craig Williams.
He will be missed by all who loved him.
Memorial services will be in Minot, N.D., sometime this summer.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Sunset Vista Funeral Home in Yuma, Ariz.
