James E. Cysewski, 60, died unexpectedly at home in Billings, Mont. after a short illness on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

He was the oldest of four siblings, born in Billings in 1952 to Ben and Floy Cysewski. Jim graduated from Bozeman Senior High School in 1971. He served in the United States Air Force from 1972-1976, after which time he returned to Billings.
Jim attended a welding school and spent the rest of his working years as a welder, first at Ideal Manufacturing and then Anderson Steel before its relocation.
Jim enjoyed coffee and cribbage as well as unmercifully teasing nieces, nephews, and cats as they came along. His favorite hobby was outdoor shooting.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Floy, in 1998.
Jim is survived by his father, Ben; son, Brandon; and three siblings, Mike (Laure) Cysewski, Jeanne Cysewski, and Scott (Margo) Cysewski, all of Belgrade, Mont. In addition, he is fondly remembered by his nephews and nieces.
Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
