James Edward "Jim" Lahey passed away on Aug. 18, 2012. Jim was born on July 21, 1964 in Flint, Mich. He attended Hammond High School and Towson University in Maryland and most recently lived in Bozeman. Jim will be remembered especially for his charming smile, engaging laugh, his enjoyment of the outdoors and love for his sons. He is survived by a loving family including his wife, Lana (nee Wiggs), and two sons, Jackson and Broderick of Bozeman; his parents, George and Dorothy Lahey of Westminster, Md.; his siblings, Ellen (Glenn) McAvoy, of Lutherville, Md., Muriel (Tom) Kneib, of Catonsville, Md.; Laura (Brett) Gallagher, of Anna Maria, Fla.; Matthew (Carol) Lahey, of Jacksonville, Fla.; his nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

Visitations are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 2 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Ruck Funeral Home, 1050 York Road, Towson, MD, 21204. The funeral prayer service will be held at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 9215 Old Harford Road, Parkville, MD, 21234 on Sunday, Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. In memory of Jim and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you extend yourself and offer a simple act of kindness to someone in need.
