Jean (Mary Jane) Robertson Larson, 90 years-old, peacefully passed away on Nov. 12, 2015, at Aspen Gardens Assisted Living, Helena, Montana, while under hospice care and surrounded by the love and prayers of family and friends.
The Guest Book is expired.
Jean was born on June 15, 1925, in Three Forks, Montana, to Reuben and Edith Robertson. Jean was the youngest child, having an older brother, James Robertson. The family lived in Three Forks for six months before moving to Livingston, where she lived until August 2015.
After graduating from Park County High School, she was employed as a legal secretary until she met and married Leonard H. Larson. Jean and Leonard were married for 49 years until Leonard's passing in 1989. The couple raised two sons, Donald and Rob, and two daughters, Linnea and Kris.
Jean possessed a contagious smile, an entertaining sense of humor, and a zest for living. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many who were forever changed by her constant nurturing love and faith. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed keeping up on the local news and gave her time to help those in the church and community.
Jean is survived by her sons Donald and Rob Larson (Kim Uhrich Larson), daughter Kris Larson (Tom Golnar) and son-in-law, Tim Cahill (Linnea).
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Edith; her brother, James; her husband, Leonard; and her daughter, Linnea.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms from too many people to name individually, including the staff of Frontier Home Health and Hospice and the caring, attentive team at Aspen Gardens.
