Jeffery Karn

The Guest Book is expired.

Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jeffery Karn, went home to be with his Lord on May 26, 2016, at the age of 60. He was born on Nov. 27, 1955, in Kensal, North Dakota, to Orville and Joyce Karn.

He married the love of his life, Shari (Leum) Karn, on December 26, 1975, in Bozeman, Montana. Jeff and Shari enjoyed 40 years of marriage together. They made Clarkston their home for the last 20 years. He was a truck driver for 25 years, which kept him away from home but his devotion to his family kept him strong. Jeff had an amazing sense of humor and was always telling jokes! He loved to make people laugh and smile. You could always find him surrounded by people laughing and having a good time. Like most of the population, Jeff was a sports fan. He loved spending time with his son, Jerry, watching the Vikings play and cheering on the Lakers or the Minnesota Twins with his faithful companion, Wiley, always by his side.

They were blessed with three children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; Jerry (Crystal) Karn (Morgan and Nathan) of Three Forks; Laurie Johnson (Kelly, Kasey, Tim, (Stevi and Harper) of Missoula; and Jennifer (Ryan) Matzick (Tristin, Michael, and Daniel) of Big Timber. He is also survived by his brothers, Tom Jelberg of Bozeman, Montana; Joe Karn of Billings, Montana; Rusty Karn of Seattle, Washington; and sister, Kerry Karn Springman of Lead, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Joyce Karn and his brother, Tim Karn.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 3 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Christian Center in Three Forks, located at 301 1st Ave. W. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 4 at 11 a.m., also at the Christian Center in Three Forks. Memorials may be made out to the Christian Center in Three Forks.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.
