John William Logan, 53, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at his home in Stevensville after a fight with cancer.

John was a fun-loving man with a gentle spirit and a caring heart. He loved camping, music and reading. His family and friends will miss him.
He was an excellent auto body technician. He went to school at Northern Montana State University in Havre.
John lived and worked in many places, including Kalispell and Bozeman; Seattle, Ellensburg and Yakima, Wash. He last worked in Hamilton and Missoula.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Maxine Johnson.
John is survived by his father, Leon Dee Logan of Stevensville; three sisters, Genie Logan of Redmond, Wash., Julie Logan of Edmonds, Wash., and Teresa Logan of Wilsonville, Ore.; nieces and nephews, Allison Koop, Andrew Ferreira, Katrina Ferreira and Amisa Ji; an uncle, aunts and cousins in Washington, and many cousins in Alabama, California, Maryland, Florida and Pennsylvania.
John's memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Whitesitt Funeral Home, 314 Church St., Stevensville.
