Joy Myers passed away at her home on June 1, 2008, in Bozeman due to a stroke.

She was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Eugene, Ore., to mother, Gladys Evyln Bauman and father, George Edward Bauman.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Dale Myers; mother, Gladys Bauman; father, Gregory Bauman; and brother, Richard Bauman.
She is survived by daughter, Caprice Madden of Oak Harbor, Wash.; son, Gary Lindsay of Big Fork; daughter, Crystal Myers of Port Townsend, Wash.; and daughter and son-in-law, Maggie and Harry Myers of Bozeman; six grandchildren, as well as sister, Patty Peterson of Eugene, Ore.
Joy loved animals, camping and world travel, especially Asia. She was a gifted artist and took great pleasure in gardening. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed, but as mom always said, "The best is yet to come."
