Joy Pam Wruck-Tucker, 54, passed away due to cancer Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, with her family by her side at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. She was the wife of the late Scott (Tex) Tucker.
Joy was born April 30, 1961, in Bozeman, Montana, the daughter of Henry and Darlene (Francis) Wruck. She resided in Bozeman for most of her life and attended school there. Joy will be greatly missed by her family. She had a generous soul, was fun loving, feisty, independent and loyal to her numerous friends from various walks of life. She enjoyed cooking and maintaining a home and was part of the local music scene through her musician husband, Scott.
Besides her parents, Joy is survived by her son, Zackary McKinney of Wilmington, North Carolina, from her previous marriage to Zachary McKinney. Additional family members include siblings, Joni Hagler of Grand Prairie, Texas, James Wruck of Belgrade, Montana, and Jan Wruck of Woodbury, Connecticut; Aunt, Dorothy Barner of Belgrade, Montana; Uncle Carl and Aunt Gail Francis of Twin Bridges, Montana; Uncle Earl and Aunt Sarah Wruck of Tyler, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Annie Castillo, Dr. Timothy Adams, and the staff of the Bozeman Deaconess Health Services for their compassionate care. In addition, they are particularly grateful for the personal care extended by Gerald Urback as Joy's illness progressed.
