Julianne Van Os, born on April 4, 1926, passed away from natural causes on Sept. 18, 2013.
The Guest Book is expired.
Julie will be greatly missed by her family and the many life-long friends she made as she traveled and lived along the East Coast.
Julie's gift was her beautiful voice. She lived to sing and was a member of numerous church choirs as well as the Robert Shaw Symphony Chorus in Atlanta. During the last three and a half years of her life, Julie entertained the staff and residents at her nursing home by frequently bursting into song. She had them laughing most days too with some Julie-ism. Julie always had a way to say things that was all her own.
Julie dearly loved her grandchildren. For as long as she was able, Julie would have a card or goody in the mail to let them know they were close in her heart even though not nearby.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna (Jedinek) Hanzel.
She is survived by her daughters, Nellyn and Alison; son-in-law, Ron; and grandchildren, Hayden and Ellie.
