Kathleen Ann Walker Ludwig, 58, of Lewiston, Idaho, passed away peacefully Monday, May 30, 2011, in Lewiston. She was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Bozeman, to Harry Walker and Jeanette Sinnema Walker.

Kathy attended Bozeman schools, graduating in 1970 from Bozeman Senior High School.
She went to work as an operator for Mountain Bell and was employed in various positions until leaving U.S. West in 1989.
Kathy was united in marriage to Ivan Ludwig Aug. 6, 1985, in Thermopolis, Wyo.
She was a wonderful-loving wife, companion and a very caring person. She and Ivan lived in the Bozeman area until moving to Lewiston in 2000.
Kathy was very passionate about her pets and always adopted them from the Humane Society.
Surviving are her husband, Ivan of Lewiston; stepchildren, Brian and Lynn Ludwig, and Kristin Ludwig, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; parents, Harry and Jeanette Walker of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Janet Olson of Mesa, and Marianne and Marvin Thill of Lake Stevens, Wash.; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, including her lifelong friend and confidant, Sheryl Boylan of Bozeman.
A celebration of her life by family and friends is being planned for a later date. Interment of her ashes will be at Menlo, Iowa, next spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent to the Humane Society or to a charity of choice.
