Ladora Christina McBride, 95, of Bozeman passed away Feb. 9, 2008. She was born May 15, 1912, in Great Falls to William J. and Venna Ivo (Moore) Kerr.

Ladora graduated from Great Falls High School in 1930 and Montana State College in Bozeman in 1935.
She married Everett Kenneth McBride in Great Falls on Oct. 17, 1936. The couple had three children. During her life, she and her husband lived in Billings, Nye, Absarokee, Big Sky and Bozeman.
Ladora enjoyed art, weaving, crafts and garage sales. She exhibited her art and crafts at fairs held in Billings, Great Falls and Bozeman.
She was a member of the Gallatin Canyon Women's Club and served as an election judge at Big Sky. She was also a life member of Alpha Gamma Delta.
Before age determined she and Kenneth should not drive, they enjoyed many years traveling with their RV and boat, visiting friends and fishing in Canada and the western states.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Ladora C.; brothers, Frances Sparks Kerr and Robert Roscoe Kerr; and two grandchildren.
Ladora is survived by her husband of 71 years, Everett ("Ken"/"Mac"); daughter, Ladora Jean (Dave) Tudor; son, Donald K. (Katherine Ann Freese) McBride, all of Bozeman; son, Robert N. (Shirley Anne Sorenson) McBride, Silverdale, Wash.; six grandchildren: Kimberly M. (Tim) McLean, Bellevue, Neb., Terri L. McBride (Kevin O'Neill), London, England, Kristie L. (Rich) Russell, Castle Rock, Colo., Jeffery M. (Christina) McBride, Yorktown, Va., Laurie A. (Mike) Larson of Bozeman, and Clifford D. (Jennifer) Tudor, Plevna, Mont.; and 17 great-grandchildren: Kandace, Marcus, Lisa and Abigail McLean, Jackson, Whitman and Quinlan O'Neill, Avery, Peyton and Taylor Russell, Lindsey and Amelia McBride, Keely and Kamryn Larson, and Courtney, Chloe and Sophia Tudor. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Lydia Lorraine (William G.) Stucky, Ames, Iowa.
A memorial service will be held in Big Sky at a later date.
