Lance F. Busch passed away on July 17, 2007, in Helena. He was born in Bozeman on Feb. 15, 1958. He graduated from Bozeman High School in 1976.
Lance worked hard to rehabilitate following an accident which caused him to spend two months in a coma and nearly a year in the hospital in Great Falls. His wonderful sense of humor carried him and his family though many difficult years.
Lance was proud to have worked at Montana Independent Living project in Helena for 19 years. He took great pride in living in a home "built to his specifications," as he was fond of saying, in Helena for the past 13 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry F. Busch.
Lance is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lavina and David Coon of Surprise, Ariz.; his brother, Larry W. Busch (Carrie) and their children, Kevin, Scott and Kelsey of Hayden, Idaho; sister, Laure (Mike) Cysewski, Jason and Angela of Belgrade; and brother, Lane and sons, Cameron and Brandon of Rathdrum, Idaho.
A private family memorial service will be held.
The family suggests memorials be made to Liberty Place, a residential facility for head-injured people striving to reach their potential, at P.O. Box 446, Whitehall, MT 59759.
Helena Funeral Chapel assisted the family at this time.
