Leslie "Les" Clinton Drew, Ph.D., 85, a U.S. Navy veteran, former director of the Museum of the Rockies and museum of Texas Tech, professor of biological sciences, loving husband, and proud father, died of natural causes Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Valle Vista Manor, Lewistown.

At his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Creel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Norma J. Drew of Lewistown; sons, William Giambroni of Ashland, Ore., and Jonathan Drew of Helena; daughter, Elizabeth Meadows Greenfield of Evanston, Ill.; stepchildren, Lisa Leven of Allen, Texas, Jill Torres of Vancouver, Wash., and Murphy Doggett of Manassas, Va.; sister, Lois Timmer of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and nine grandchildren.

Les was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine; and son, Joseph.
