An elegant lady, Libby Roth, passed away on Feb. 7, 2013. She was born in Bozeman, to Leonard and Eula Eblen. She graduated from Gallatin County High School and Kinman Business College. Libby then worked in San Francisco for a year during the war whereupon she returned to Bozeman. She met and married Ken Roth, and to this union, two sons were born.

Her early married life started in Absarokee where Ken started his teaching career. She enjoyed her time there and made many lifelong and treasured friendships.

Following their time in Absarokee, the family moved to Billings, where Libby worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for over 20 years. During her working years, she volunteered for several civic groups and her church.

In her retirement, she traveled with her husband many times before he passed away, and she continued traveling with many of her good friends. Libby was always active and enjoyed golfing, playing bridge with most of the same friends for over 40 years, dancing and most of all, being with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Len (Marilyn) and their sons Kirk (Aubrey) and Brett, all of Bozeman; and Rande (Gayle) in Billings and their children, David (fiancée Stacey) and daughter Kendall both also of Bozeman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, her sister Mary, brothers Bill, Paul, Winfield, George and Louis, and her grandson Danny.

Libby requested that her body be sent to the WWAMI medical research program at Montana State University upon her death. Memorials may be made to a . Memorial services are pending.
