In her brief time on this earth, Lindsey tried to experience as many things as she could. She loved meeting new people, spending quiet time beading, and enjoying nature's beauty by floating the local rivers. She loved the antics and innocence of children, and above all, she loved laughing and telling jokes with her family and friends.
Lindsey experienced many challenges in her short life but those of us who knew and loved her will always remember how even in the darkest and most lean of times, she would find a way to give of what she had to help someone else in need. She had little tolerance for cruelty but relentless empathy for those who suffered, be they human or one of God's smallest creatures.
Although Lindsey lived in many places and enjoyed making many friends, the absolute light and love of her life was her daughter, Payton Chapman, born Oct. 7, 2002.
Lindsey is survived by her mother, Linda Lacy; father, Neil Webb; daughter, Payton; brothers, Tim, Jordan, and Evan; and grandparents, Ron and Shirley Lacy.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. at the American Lutheran Church, 5 Lewis Ave., Billings, MT.
We are suffering at your sudden leaving, Lindsey, but we ask the angels to watch over you until we can again be with you to share a joke, a summer breeze, and another warm hug. "[Love] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails..." 1Co. 13:7-8 NKJ version.
