THREE FORKS - Lois Kent, a loving disciple of Christ, passed away Aug. 9, 2010, in Billings. She was born Aug. 28, 1926, in Glenham, S.D.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wellwood Kent. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Edward and Johanna Beckman; brothers, Arnold Lee and Paul Beckman; a sister, Agnes Huyser.
She is survived by her brothers, Martin (Earlene), Glenn (Reta) and Harold Beckman; a sister-in-law, Doris Beckman; her daughters, Margaret (Tony) Lekse, Mary North, Martha (Clarence) Dykstra, and Myra (Pastor Paul) Roueche; and by her sons, William (Bonnie) Kent, George (Norma) Kent, and Richard (Marijane) Kent. She is also survived by nine beloved grandchildren and 16 dearly loved great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Mount Green Cemetery in Willow Creek. A memorial celebrating her life in Christ will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Three Forks, with the Rev. Roger Hill officiating. On Aug. 15, a memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Shiloh in Billings, with the Rev. Roger Hill officiating.
