Lois Louise Davis passed away Feb. 28, 2007, at Aspen Gardens in Helena.
Lois was born Aug. 17, 1923, to John and Mabel Roth. She was born and raised in Manhattan, where she graduated from high school in 1943.
On June 28, 1947, she married Robert L. Davis. Lois and Bob spent their early married years in Butte, then lived in several locations before returning to Manhattan in 1972. In 2005, they moved to Helena to be near family.
Lois was a very loving mother and wonderful homemaker who was very involved with the Manhattan Presbyterian Church and the Rebecca Lodge. She also enjoyed her pinochle club, bowling team and good friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in April 2006.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Dixon and husband, John of Lacey, Wash., and Tana Loessberg and husband, Dave of Stevensville; three sons, Bob Davis and wife, Laurie of Helena, John Davis of Seattle, Wash., and Glen of Belgrade; and a brother, Gerald Roth of Casper, Wyo. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Wendy Dixon, Eric Loessberg, Kelly Dixon, Angela Loessberg, Rachelle Davis, Carrie Davis, Derek Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Johnny Dixon and Charlize Dixon.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Manhattan Presbyterian Church, with burial in Meadow View Cemetery, Manhattan. Cremation has been provided by Anderson Cremation Services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Lois' name be made to Hospice of St. Peter's Hospital, 2475 Broadway, Helena, MT 59601; or to Shodair Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 5539, Helena, MT 59604.
Local arrangements have been entrusted to Hagler-Anderson Funeral Home.
