The Guest Book is expired.

Lola (Penner) Pyle, 91, daughter of Henry and Mary Penner, was born in Dallas, Ore., on Dec. 12, 1923. Her parents and family later moved to Larslan, Mont., where they lived on a wheat farm. Lola graduated from Glasgow High School in 1942. Thereafter, she was employed as an office manager/nurse for a medical practice in Glasgow. After their marriage, they lived primarily in the Tacoma, Wash., and San Diego, Calif., areas where her husband was engaged in marine electronics.

In recent years she resided with her daughter in Bozeman. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 at the Gallatin Rest Home in Bozeman.

She will be remembered as a warm, meticulous person both in appearance and as a hostess, reflecting Christian values. Guests were always welcome in her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Pyle, in November 1994; and her sister, Clara Unruh, in March 2012.

Survivors include one brother, Herb Penner and his wife, Verna of Glasgow; one daughter, Diane Purcell and her husband, Dave of Bozeman; and one son, Dan Pyle of West Hollywood, Calif.
