Loren D. "Larry" Olmstead, 70, formerly of Bozeman, passed away April 23, 2009, in Helena. He was born March 7, 1939, in St. Paul, Minn., to Alice (Leavitt) and Howard Olmstead.

Following graduation from high school, he served in the United States Air Force. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Business School in 1973 and practiced for many years as a certified public accountant.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Brandon.
Larry is survived by sons, Ronald (Pam) Olmstead and children, Brenna and Aaron of Chandler, Ariz.; and Roger (Trish) Olmstead and children, Amanda and Nicole of Pflugerville, Texas; sisters, Gale (Gary) Rick and children, Brad and Marcie; and Shirley Olmstead of St. Paul, Minn.; and former wife, Rosie (Carter) Olmstead of Bozeman.
Private family graveside services will be held.
