Early Wednesday morning Feb. 3, 2016, Lucille Mattie Fenn quietly passed away in the company of her daughter.

Lucille was born on Aug. 14, 1920, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Ida Bell and William McLain. As a young woman she moved with her parents and son, Russell, to Santa Barbara, California. It was there that she met her husband, Donald Fenn. Together they had three children, David Michael, Karen Joy and Sue Ellen, whom they raised in their house on the Mesa.

Lucille was a very selfless person who loved helping to raise her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She loved her pink house on the Mesa and so did her family and all who visited there!

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Ross Fenn; her son, David; daughter, Karen; grandson, Donald Ross; and son, Russell.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue (David) Cullen; grandsons, Steven Fenn and Troy Hockett; granddaughters, Maggie, Carrie and Brenda; nieces, Martha and Georgia; great-grandchildren, Sadi, Scott, Sophia, Sean, Jack, Penny, Kari, Janelle, Lily; and many other numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her extended family in Oklahoma.

"Heaven has gained another angel and if any woman deserves a set of wings it was her" – Sadie Fenn

Lucille's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Highgate Cottage family and friends, Rocky Mountain Hospice and Doctor Christie Mitchell and Doctor King for the care and thoughtfulness that they provided to Lucille.

Sue would like to give a special thank you to her family and friends who have been very supportive over the years.

Services will be held in Santa Barbara, California.
