NAPLES, Fla - Lynne C. Malpeli, 85, of Naples, Florida, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at her residence. She had been a resident of Naples for over 40 years, also calling Charlevoix, Michigan, and Big Sky, Montana, home. Lynne was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Maurice R. and Marie J. (Martinek) Ford. She was an avid boater who enjoyed water-skiing as well as snow skiing. She also loved needlepoint. Mrs. Malpeli was a member of Audubon Country Club in Naples, Florida, Bloomfield Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and River Hills Country Club in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. Survivors include her children, John Malpeli III, Faith Malpeli, Marc Malpeli, Camille Malpeli and Hope Vickers; grandchildren, Heidi, Molly, Jeffrey, Kali, Anna, John, Lauren and Hunter; great-granddaughter, Emilia; brother, Roger Ford; and sisters, Donna Newmeyer and Andrea Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Malpel Jr. in 2009. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave. No., Naples, FL 34108. She will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
