Marcia Engraf Heisel died Nov. 19, 2009. She was born Oct. 19, 1954, to Richard and Donna Engraf in Hettinger, N.D.

She grew up in Bozeman, graduating in 1973. She attended Bozeman schools, Montana State University, and later attended the University of Utah.

Marcia married Steve Heisel in Salt Lake City. The couple have a son, Nicholas, and a daughter, Katya.

Marcia was preceded in death by her infant brother, Ritchie; her older brother, Perry; and father, Richard.

Marcia's surviving siblings are Ted (Myrna) Engraf, and his son, Shawn, and daughter, Shannon (Robert) Shilling and their two children; Candace (Grover) Taylor, and her two children, Tiffany and Stefen; and Marcia's half-sister, Bonnie Kent.

Marcia had many interests - as a girl she played softball, bowled and skied, and she enjoyed crafts and pottery. She was a member of the Niki organization, The North Winds, and she had a singing part in the play, "Bye Bye Birdie."

Marcia taught school in St. Helens, Ore., which she enjoyed as well as her co-workers.

A memorial will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, in St. Helens, Ore.
