Margaret Swier Engelsman was born April 23, 1930, to Walter and Anna Swier in Hanford, California. Margaret moved to Denver at age 22 to find a career and begin a new chapter in her life.

In Denver she met, fell in love, and married Lloyd Engelsman. Margaret and Lloyd had three children, Anna Lynn, Roger and Ronda. They lived in Denver for 50 years, raising their children, being active in their church and caring for others. Margaret's passions were her faith, family and flower gardening. After her family had grown, Margaret and Lloyd moved to Churchill, Montana, and became members of Grace Bible Church in Bozeman.
Margaret lived a long and meaningful life until she was called to heaven by her Savior Jesus Christ on Aug. 23, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Engelsman; children, Anna Lynn Alberda (Keith), Roger Engelsman (Kelli), Ronda Bosma (Jeff); grandchildren, Derek Engelsman (Carla), Lauralee Alberda, Christine Alberda, Daniel Engelsman, Whitney DeVries (Tyler), Clint Bosma (Karly), Dylan Engelsman (Caitlyn), Katrina Bosma, and Harris Bosma; and a great-grandchild, Levi DeVries; siblings, Edward Swier and Gertrude Korver.She is preceded in death by her brothers, Cornelius Swier and John Swier.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.Margaret will be laid to rest Monday, Aug. 29 at 9:30 a.m. at Hills Cemetery in Manhattan.A Celebration of Life will follow at 11 a.m. at Grace Bible Church in the Fireside Room.
