Marian Dale Cronkhite passed away at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 1, 2008. In meeting the challenges of her illness, Dale's courage, dignity, love, and acceptance awed all who stood in her presence. She was 60.

Dale will always be known by her family and friends as a beloved wife, daughter, sister and mother, a gifted writer, a world traveler, a helping hand, a talented listener, a supporting shoulder, and an irreplaceable friend.

She is survived by her husband, James V. Cronkhite; daughters, Kristin Cronkhite and Courtney Blair; and son, Justin Cronkhite. All are residing in The Woodlands, Texas.
