Martha Lannis Hodge, 78, of Manhattan, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at home with her family by her side.

Martha was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Bozeman to John and Mabel (Neal) Johnson. She attended school in Bozeman and Manhattan, where she met Charles Hodge. Charles and Martha were married on July 17, 1950, in Livingston.

She was a natural caretaker and enjoyed helping people, especially her children. She also loved knitting, crocheting, and arts and crafts.

Martha is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles; their five children: daughter Cindy (Jack) Duffy and sons Dan (Sally) Hodge, Jerry Hodge, Chuck (Tina) Hodge and Jeff (Darice) Hodge; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Beth Dorsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings.

Cremation has taken place, and services will be held at a later date.
